Bottom Techniques and Escape Fundamentals
In this module, learn principles of position, movement, and hand control as well as a good stand up and how to execute rolls stealthily and successfully and a number of other "on the bottom" techniques applicable in mixed martial arts and submission wrestling. While the traditional "four corners" bottom position of wrestling is dangerously unfavorable in submission wrestling and jiu jitsu, a number of circumscribed "bottom" wrestling techniques have applicability in various situations and allow for escaping, passing the guard, or transitioning to a submission. A number of techniques from a variety of "on the bottom" positions will be discussed and demonstrated.For administrative purposes, the date of 12/28/2005 is listed below for "Available Soon" modules. I will be completing the editing and authoring of the modules in the order they are listed on the Products page and anticipate most of the series to be completed by the end of the summer or early fall. As I get close to completing each module, I will replace the availability date to inform customers. Please check the website every couple of weeks!
