Head and Arm (Front Headlock) Offense and Defense Fundamentals

Head and Arm (Front Headlock) Offense and Defense Fundamentals If you control your opponent's head, you control your opponent. Attacking the head, in wrestling, is the flip side of the coin when it is difficult to attack your opponent's legs owing to a low stance or good defense. In this module, principles of transitioning from leg attacks to attacking the head (i.e., front headlock) are discussed and demonstrated along with a number of finishing techniques that include chokes, knees, and bringing your opponent down to the mat as well as keeping him there while you finish with various technique to get your opponent's back or to obtain top position. Additionally, defending against this position, and various secondary attacks, are discussed and demonstrated.

For administrative purposes, the date of 12/28/2005 is listed below for "Available Soon" modules. I will be completing the editing and authoring of the modules in the order they are listed on the Products page and anticipate most of the series to be completed by the end of the summer or early fall. As I get close to completing each module, I will replace the availability date to inform customers. Please check the website every couple of weeks!
