Throws, Foot Sweeps, and Trips Fundamentals

Throws, Foot Sweeps, and Trips Fundamentals While head inside singles, head outside singles, and double leg takedowns are the highest probability attacks, increasing your technical arsenal to include throws, foot sweeps, and trips will open up a conceptual understanding of attacking in wrestling that goes beyond the basics of leg attacks, giving additional options for attacking and transitions back to the basic leg attacks. In this instructional, you will learn principles of footwork, hip position, and movement for basic but effective throws such as headlocks, arm throws, the fireman's carry, and the body lock. You will learn drills to develop this aspect of your game. Additionally, just as martial artists learn to effectively utilize your lower extremities to attack and defend, wrestling has a number of commensurately useful techniques in the guise of foot sweeps and trips.

For administrative purposes, the date of 12/28/2005 is listed below for "Available Soon" modules. I will be completing the editing and authoring of the modules in the order they are listed on the Products page and anticipate most of the series to be completed by the end of the summer or early fall. As I get close to completing each module, I will replace the availability date to inform customers. Please check the website every couple of weeks!
